Biography
Tavitjan brothers are well known as highest quality composers, performes and also music producers who collaborated and shared the stage with jazz giants like Joe Zawinull, Chick Corea, Mc Coy Tyner, Blues Brothers, Rhani Krija (STING), Theodosii Spassov , Branford Marsalis , Roseanna Vitro, Richard Galiano and many others.
They have produced over 150 compositions, music plays and soundtracks in collaboration with the Greatest Balkan and Macedonian pop singers. Tavitjan Brothers have won many awards during their career. They have won awards for the

Tavitjan Brothers have finished music education in Macedonia.later they have received scholarship at the Berklee in Boston.With more than 400 international concert performances across Europe, USA and Balkans, the music range of these superb musicians starts from mainstream jazz to fusion, ethno and electronic elements in a modern manner with accent on virtuosity of each musician involved.
They have performed on numerous international festivals and concerts worldwide and received a number of international music awards.Their original music and performance was highly estimated by several world wide critics including Jazz Times Magazine, Jazz dimensions, All about Jazz, Concerto, Miror Spectator etc.
Their first release won at international music competition among 12 finalists that have their music released by SONY JAZZ (UK). The competition gathered over 300.000 votes as well as professional jury in 2003.
They are the first Macedonian Jazz musicians who received the award for the best concert in Macedonia for their fantastic performance at the Universal hall in 2008 featuring Theodosii Spassov on kaval and Rhani Krija (percussionist with STING).
Also , they are the first musicians with the Jazz album of the year award in 2006
Tavitjan Brothers are a part of WE1Voice (USA) fondation and organisation.Tavitjan Brothers are part of Carver fondation in the United States of America together with a legendary David Foster (most famous composer on the planet who wrote songs for Whitnie Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, MIchael Bolton and many more...), John Jr Robinson...and many others.
It is a such a great honor to be part of this great foundation together with legendary amazing renowned artist. Tavitjan Brothers are the first and only members from the Balkan who took place in this huge American organization.Carver foundation took part of Tavitjan Brother's concert at the Carnegie Hall in New York 2014. Tavitjan Brothers acctualy have made donation for the Carver organization together with Andriana Nocco.
Tavitjan Brothers so far have made couple of concerts in the United states of America as well as manu collaborations with famous musicians and producers. Tavitjan Brothes have many articles in the American daily and music magazines and online based newspapers.
Tavitjan Brothers are part of tribute project of Morris Pleasure (the pianist of Michael Jackson,Christina Augilera,Earth Wind & Fire, Jannet Jackson, Ray Charles,Marcus Miller,George Duke, Kenny Garret...etc.) dedicated to Michael Jackson. For this project they have made new arrangement of "Wanna be starting something" from the album Thriller of M.J and also they have recorded a music video in Atlanta at the legendary Southerntracks studios with a famous movie/video director from Unitet states of America.
This project is huge cause Mr.Morris is a American legend in the music industry. He was a music band director of legendary Earth, Wind & Fire for many years and also close colaborator of Michael Jackson and his family.
Tavitjan Brothers are the only artist from europe who took place on this legendary project. They have already performed this compostition together with the Morris Pleasure in a concert at the legendary Carnegie Hall who was special guest on a completely sold out concert of the Tavitjan Brothers
Their latest project is the best selling music album of the last decade in Macedonia called "Macedonian heart beats in 7/8" featuring the greatest Balkan singers like Oliver Dragoevic, Josipa Lisac, Zeljko Bebek, Massimo Savic, Hari Varesanovic, Tereza Kesovija, Esma Redzepova , Nina Badric, Zeljko Joksimovic, Jelena Tomasevic, Kaliopi, Goran Bregovic, Aki Rahimovski, Miki Jovanovski Djafer, Risto Samardziev, Vlatko Lozanovski & Karolina Goceva singing the traditional Macedonian songs for the first time in history arranged and produced by Tavitjan Brothers.
This project was issued in 100.000 copies over the balkan and diaspora in 22 countries. Garabet & Tavitjan Brothers have recorded 8 music videos with Oliver Dragoevic, Aki Rahimovski,Nina Badric, Hari Varesanovic, Zeljko Bebek, Massimo Savic & Karolina.
Project received 2 awards in row for the best project of the year (two years in a row) , award for the best production of the year and award for the best video and it was and still it is the best selling Macedonian project in Macedonia,Serbia and Croatia.
In 2010 Tavitjan Brothers signed record contracts (10 years contract) with the largest music publisher in Croatia called "Croatia Records" and "City Records" in Serbia. This is the first succesful project on the balkan with recorded Macedonian traditional songs.
This project is the bigest project in Macedonian history of music overall. Distribution of this project was huge in many countries such as : Germany, Austria, Australia, India, Canada and other countries. Couple of presidents in the world have received this project as a valuable present.
This project have reached world top producers and managers and some of them were interested to work on this project to incorporate collaboration with world famous stars to sing on Macedonian language for the first time in history.

Tavitjan Brothers in New York at their concert had a opportunity to have special guests such as : Singer Rosenna Vitro who was nomminated for Grammy Award and she also makes a record for Blue Note Records with John Patitucci and Randy Brecker on her albums.Also on the concert Morris Pleasure was a special guest and he is best known as a pianist,producer,bass player and music band director of Earth Wind & Fire, but he also have worked with Michael Jackson, Janete Jackson, Ray Charles, Kenny Garret, Marcus Miller, George Duke, Christina Augilera, Mary J Blidge, David Foster (Iconic composer) , John Mc Laughlin, Michel Bolton and many more. Tavitjan Brothers are working many projects with Mr.Morris pleasure.
In the audience the famous Rachel Z came to visit Tavitjan Brothers cause she is a amazing musician and already a friend of Tavitjans.She was working with Peter Gabriel, Steps Ahead and she has a band with Terry Lin Carington and also Rachel Z is a wife of spectacular superstar drummer Omar Hakim. Omar is playing drums in the band with her. Mason Brothers were there at the Carnegie Hall to see Tavitjan Brothers performance. Tavitjan Brothers also had a another fantastic suprise guest singer named Sofija Knezevic.
In the audience and on the afterparty at the Carnegie also were Mr.Safra (Bank family) and many other managers.
